EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) Rubber is used in the manufacture of these belts because of:
- Better durability and performance in hotter or colder conditions with improved friction tolerance.
- Much lighter than previous version of belt.
- Short fiber mixture in rib rubber improves the performance over previous version.

Compared to standard belts:
High temperature durability: 4 times greater.
Low temperature durability: 10 times greater.
Abrasion resistance: 30% improved.
Weight: 17% lighter.
Noise: Less.
